San Luis was a state of the former Kingdom of the Union of Caputia, one of its eleven states. Its capital was the city of San Luis, and its largest city was the southern port of San Francisco.
From 1657 AN the coast of San Luis received the Coastal Wechu, descendants of the Wechua deported to western Keltia during the period of Atteran domination, and Wechu was among the languages of the state. With the dissolution of Caputia in the late 1660s AN, the coast of San Luis, including San Francisco, passed to the Wechua Nation, ending that nation's landlocked status and giving it its principal seaport.[1]
