The military confrontation with the Iron Company revealed a continued need for an agile and fast small attack craft. After due considerations, the choice fell on the old Melusine-class missile boat, but with updated electronics, engines and a lighter hull. The class went into mass production in 1681 in Alduria, Constancia, Sanama and the UGB. Electronics and engines are sourced locally to reduce costs and stimulate the local military shipbuilders.
As of 1729 AN the type continued in low rates of production with the Akeraiótita Dockyards of Aqaba in Constancia.
