Meckelnburgh in Microvision 2024

Meckelnburgh took part in Microvision Song Contest 2024 with the song "Pop! (Cherri's Assault)" by Paranoid DJ and Cycoriot feat. Krystal LaPorte.

The Meckelnish faith believes the inhabitants of Hell are abandoned souls of the dead condemned in ignorance to hellfire for their human flaws. Those souls must struggle to find purpose in a realm full of impoverishment, conflict and desolation. “POP!” tells the story of a woman who “fell into hell” alone and built a new identity of strength and “infamy” in the afterlife. The song reflects the Meckelnish belief that lost human souls have capacity for rebirth in spite of horrific circumstances beyond their creation.
