The Maritime Special Operations Flotilla (MARSOF) are the Florian navy's principal special operations force and a key component of the Florian Special Warfare Group. MARSOF's main roles are to conduct small-unit special operation missions in maritime, jungle, urban, arctic, mountainous, and desert environments. MARSOF's typically are commanded to neutralise or apprehend high level targets, or collect information behind enemy lines. MARSOF was formed in the Sharp Administration to combat a rising threat of Micronational terrorism from rogue states.

All active MARSOF's are male and are active members of the Florian Navy and operators from MARSOF teams are often recruited for covert operations.
