The Mercury legislative elections of 1736 were held in III.1736 to elect the eleventh Mercurian Parliament. Voting took place in all twenty states, each electing a number of representatives, using the Sainte-Laguë system.

Overview

President Gabrielle Fisher led the National Democratic Party into her first election as leader of the governing party, having won a landslide in the previous election.

Election of the President

The Presidential election was held following the legislative elections, between the leaders of all parties that attained over 10% of the available seats in Parliament. Beatrice Barker declined to stand for election. Gabrielle Fisher was elected in a single round.
