Mercury legislative elections, 1727

The Mercury legislative elections of 1727 were held in III.1727 to elect the eighth Mercurian Parliament. Voting took place in all twenty states, each electing a number of representatives, using the Sainte-Laguë system.

Overview

President Caroline Griffiths led the Mercurian Labour Party into their second election as the governing party.

The incumbent Mercurian Labour Party won a third term in government, however, they still continued to lose ground to the National Democratic Party, who managed to attain over 100 seats in this election.
