The Ecclesiastical Mountain Republic national football team is the football team which represents the Constancian protectorate of the Ecclesiastical Mountain Republic. It is a member of the AEFA. The team is the official successor of Eklesia, and as such retains its records. Its primary commercial patron is the Eklesia Copper Corporation.

History

The team was founded in mid-2021 after the Ecclesiastical Mountain Republic, which has existed on Micras since earlier in the year after being founded by Constancia as the successor state to Eklesia, applied successfully for FMF membership. While as Eklesia, the team had competed in the 2018 Copa Apollonia qualification rounds, finishing their group fifth of six, and in the 2019 World Cup qualifiers, placing fourth in their five-team group before leaving Micras later in the year.

The team first competed as the Ecclesiastical Mountain Republic in the following year's Copa Apollonia qualifiers, where they finished bottom of their four-team group after failing to gain a point or score a goal, which led to an invite to the 2022 Emerging Nations Cup. In the Emerging Nations Cup, they won their quarter-final before beating the United Isles in the semi-finals, both on penalties, but lost 2–0 to Whales in the final.

The 2023 FMF World Cup qualification rounds saw the team finish bottom of their six-team group with a sole point to their name.

The team competed in the Copa Apollonia qualifiers the following year, where they placed bottom of their five-team group after losing all of their matches.
