The Xang Muang national football team was the football team which represented the micronation of Xang Muang. It was a member of the EMUFA, and was run by the Xang Football Federation.

History

The team was founded in late 2016 after Xang Muang's Micrasian claim was successful. They first competed in the following year's World Cup qualifiers, where they could only finish bottom of their five-team group with five points to their name.

The team competed in the 2018 EMU Championships qualification rounds, where they finished bottom of their five-team group with a sole point to their name. The team then participated in the 2018 Emerging Nations Cup as hosts, winning their quarter-final and semi-final before beating Qavaqaqqaqqaniitqeqertaq 4–2 in the final for their first ever title.

In the 2019 World Cup qualifiers, the team finished fourth in their six-team group with ten points. Xang Muang left Micras later in the year.
