The Petropolis Compact was a documented agreement and understanding between the members of the Imperial House of Santiago-Santander regarding the succession of their several possessions, fiefdoms, and various properties. It was inspired by the Treaty of Dynastic Separation, and formally begun when Basilinna Esmeralda al-Osman expressed, "...her desire to ensure clarity, to avoid doubt in future years, to secure the generations thereafter, and to ensure peace in this dynasty, the Imperial State, in Eura, and around the world."

Formalized by Imperial Decree, and negotiated by the Imperial Synkletos to be further authenticated as an amendment to the Magna Carta of 1667, it was deemed politically and dynastically necessary to have it publicly witnessed by parties of significant reputation. As a result, it was signed on [DATE], two days after the Wedding of Alexander Ayreon-Kalirion, Prince of Shahzamin, and Eva von Hutten, in the Palace of Imperial Unity in Petropolis, during an open session of the Imperial Synkletos.
