Manifesto

Coordinated State

Defence of the Realm

  1. A naval-led campaign to defeat the Confederacy of the Dispossessed throughout the Sea of Storms. The Dispossessed wage their war against the Federation and the civilised world with a fleet that is as obsolete as it is prodigious. The Federal Navy will need to expand over the next decade to meet the challenges of the corsair fleets that have arisen following the collapse of the Bassarid empire outside of Corum.
  2. A continuation of the campaign to eliminate (not capture) the leadership cadres of the Dispossessed. For the shameful slaying of His Majesty, Manco Cápac, there can be no justice except in retribution and reprisal.
  3. A programme of corvette building, with orders to be placed with ESB Armada and the Pontecorvo Firm.
  4. A mobilisation of the Federal Guards Service to support pacification efforts in New Caputia. Operation Purple Splendor yielded a battlefield victory, but now the hard grind of eradicating Bassarid tendencies amongst the liberated population must be undertaken.
  5. Acquisition of maritime patrol aircraft, utility helicopters, unmanned aerial surveillance vehicles for the Federal Forces, and the generation of an air tanker fleet capable of ensuring the extended range strike capability of the Federal Air Force.
  6. Our Federation is poised to become the arsenal of the Raspur Pact. Our economic and industrial might will help Normark and the Suren Confederacy turn back the aggressive incursions of the Dispossessed, and thereby ensure the liberation of Dale and the conclusion of the Norasht campaign. We can be justly proud of our contributions towards making the world a safer place.

Foreign Policy and Trade

  1. The Mehrshahr Agreement, providing access to four military bases in the Suren Confederacy, will form the bedrock of Nouvelle Alexandrie's contribution to the defence and security of its fellow Raspur Pact and Euran Economic Union member-state,.as well as its commitment to the collective security of the Euran realms in the face of the ceaseless aggression of the Dispossessed. This mission is focused on generating an Area Defence (artillery, air-defence, surveillance, UAVs etc) capability for the Surenid Armed Forces and will not entail direct combat actions. The contribution of Nouvelle Alexandrie to the ongoing Norasht campaign remains one of training and advice, albeit with an expanded logistical component, which will expand yet further as the FHP policies concerning rearmament reach fruition.

Regionalisation

  1. Continuing the policy of successive governments, the FHP focus is on providing the regions with the tools they need to fulfill their needs. With the Federation spread across three continents, and with many regions the size of powerful, diverse, and regionally expansive empires in their own right, it would unreasonable to prescribe utopian top down solutions for local problems, such as the perennial issue concerning housing construction. With the creation of a powerful housing ministry, and with the support of the Ministry of the Interior, the Federal Government is positioned to provide every support to the regional authorities, but it is the regions that must deliver. It is not for the Federal Government to appropriate land, mandate social housing, or punish developers for allowing perverse incentives to develop. There comes a point where, if the tiers of governance are to have meaning, the localities must resolve these matters for themselves.

Harmonious Society

Conservation and environmental stewardship

  1. Promote market-based solutions to environmental issues, such as emissions trading, carbon offsets and green bonds, to incentivize the private sector to adopt more sustainable practices.
  2. Support the development and deployment of renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind and hydroelectric power, to reduce the nation's reliance on fossil fuels and enhance energy security.
  3. Advocate for the creation of a national park system to protect the country's natural beauty and biodiversity, while also promoting ecotourism as a means of creating jobs and generating revenue.

Economic Growth

  1. Lower corporate tax rates and streamline regulatory processes to make it easier for businesses to operate in the country.
  2. Encourage entrepreneurship and innovation through funding of start-ups and small businesses, and by establishing business incubators and accelerators.

Education

  1. Increase funding for STEM education in the grand institutes, to promote innovation and prepare students for the jobs of the future.
  2. Promote vocational education and apprenticeships to help students develop practical skills and gain valuable work experience.
  3. Encourage partnerships between the grand institutes, universities, and businesses to facilitate technology transfer and foster innovation.

Infrastructure and Transport

  1. Invest in infrastructure projects, such as roads, bridges and airports, to improve connectivity and facilitate economic growth. This will include pioneering an expanded Keltian Highway as soon as the continental security environment permits.
  2. Support the development of public transportation systems, such as buses and light rail, to reduce congestion and promote sustainable transportation.
  3. Encourage the adoption of electric and hybrid vehicles by providing incentives, such as tax breaks and subsidies, to promote their use.

Societal harmonisation

  1. Promote social cohesion by celebrating the monarchy, the achievements of the Federation, and fostering a sense of national unity routed in the struggles of the Alexandrian, Caputian, and Wechua diasporas.
  2. Advocate for greater civic engagement and volunteerism to promote social responsibility and community involvement.
  3. Encourage the development of holistic community programs that promote mental health and wellness, such as counseling services and stress reduction workshops.
