The Lagerhuis (Lower House of the Kingdom) is the House of Commons of Batavian Parliament. It was established in 1524 AN after the end of the Davignonrepublic and establishment the Second Kingdom of Batavia. It replaced the unicameral parliament of the First Kingdom of Batavia, which mainly consisted of a small group of land owners. It acts as the primary legislature of the nation, and is responsible for passing laws. The Lagerhuis holds its meetings in the Huys van het Bataafsche Volck, in 's Koningenwaarde.
Traditionally, the Lagerhuis is dominated by a majority of conservative moderates and pro-monarchist parties.

Thirty-first Term: 1713 AN - 1717 AN (October - February 2022)
This term saw the rise of the Ultraroyalists on the promise of strengthening the cooperation of Batavia with the central authorities in Shirekeep. Voter fraud (with the aid of Tegong officials according to critics from socialist parties) was reported but not proven. Louis Thuylemans presided the new royal cabinet thanks to his absolute majority in the Lagerhuis.
