The Freeland national football team was the football team which represented the micronation of Freeland. It was a member of the AEFA, and was run by the PRoFFA.
History
The team was founded in late 2017 after Freeland's Micrasian claim was successful. The team first competed, after playing the friendly Florian Peace Cup, in the 2018 Copa Apollonia qualification rounds the following year where they finished third in their six-team group with 18 points.
In the 2019 World Cup qualifiers, the team finished second in their five-team group with 18 points and advanced to the interconfederational play-off to face Greater Sangun, who they beat by virtue of away goals after a 1–1 aggregate draw to advance to their first finals. In the finals, the team finished third in their group on goal difference with seven points to advance to the play-off round, where they lost 3–0 to Craitland. Freeland left Micras later in the year.
