The Alperkin national football team was the football team which most recently represented the Bassarid Periphery constituent nation of Alperkin, and previously represented the independent nation of the same name. It was a member of the EMUFA.
History
The team was founded in mid-2018 after Alperkin's Micrasian claim was successful. They first competed in the 2019 World Cup qualifiers, where they finished fifth in their six-team group with four points.
During the 2020 qualifiers, Alperkin joined with the Iron Cult to form the Bassarid Periphery, with each constituent nation retaining its separate FMF membership. In the qualifiers themselves, the team finished bottom of their five-team group after losing all of their matches; a record that invited them to the 2020 Emerging Nations Cup, where they lost their quarter-final to Jääland after extra time.
In the 2021 FMF World Cup qualification rounds, the team finished bottom their five-team group without a point after losing every match and once again gained a place in the Emerging Nations Cup. In the Emerging Nations Cup, they lost their quarter-final to Goëtia 2–1.
In the following year's EMU qualifiers, the team again finished bottom of their five-team group without a point to their name, which led to a third consecutive invite to the 2022 Emerging Nations Cup, where they lost to hosts Forajasaki in the quarter-finals. In late 2022, Alperkin, as part of the Bassarid Periphery, left Micras.
