Ghawlama ("river mouth" in White Lontinian; Blue Lontinian: Ğawlama Hurmumol; Crandish and Norse: Aulama; Krasnocorian: Гаулама, Gaulama) is a historic city, municipality, and traditional capital of in Lontinien. Part of the Ghawlama metropolitan area and home to Ghawlama Gate and the Ghawlama International Airport. Population: 569,392 (1696 Hurmu census)

Government

Since 7.VIII.1729 AN the city has been under the rule of the Tarkhan of Ghawlama, Aurangzeb Daniyal Erdenechuluun al-Osman. Ruling at the pleasure of the Khanum and Viceroy, the Tarkhan enjoyed unlimited powers with which to enforce the Brida and collect the tribute payments owed to the Khanate of Lontinien.

The Darbar Palace, built between 1740 AN and 1748 AN in a Neo-Babkhan and Çakari style, served as the seat of government.

Garrison and security

The city is host to a major cantonment of the Hurmu Fyrð (formerly Hurmu Peace Corps), providing billets for regiments of the air, land, and sea departments, as well as a training cohort of the Peace Academy.
