The Walstadt-Light national football team is the football team which represents the Aemilian jurisdiction of Walstadt and Light, it originally represented the Natopian autonomous territory of Walstadt-Light. It is a member of the CTFA. The team was the official successor of Kujirashi-Wahlstadt, Walstadt and Kujirashi-Walstadt, and is the official predecessor of Greater Walstadt. It became the successor to the Whales national football team in 2025 as Walstadt and Light was transferred from Natopia to the Confoederatio Aemilia following the ratification of the Treaty of Sankt Rosa.
History
The team was founded in late 2015 after Walstadt-Light was founded as the successor state to the Natopian autonomous territory of Kujirashi-Walstadt, itself the successor of Walstadt. As Walstadt, the team competed in the 2014 qualifiers, losing all their matches, before gaining four points the following year under the name of Kujirashi-Walstadt. In early 2016, Walstadt-Light left Micras after being succeeded by Greater Walstadt with the national team having played no FMF-affiliated matches.
