Sooraj Wasli is a ÇakariHurmu diplomat and senator. Ambassador of Hurmu to the Dark Berry Islands, 1719–1726. Became Senator of the Lakes upon the resignation of Karel Kyle des Vinandy in 1726.

The paternal grandson of explorer André Vales (of Leylstadt fame), Sooraj's surname Wasli is a Çakariization of Vales.
