The Emirati Red Lion and Sun Society is a Sathrati humanitarian organisation. Inspired by and modelled after the Red Sun and Moon Society in Sanama the Red Orchid Society in Elwynn, which in turn was inspired by the Red Lion and Sun Society of Babkha, it received its charter in 1682 from the emirati government of Sathrati.

The Red Lion and Sun is an important symbol in Babkhi culture, which is the dominant culture of the elite in Sathrati.

In 1683, the Emirati Red Lion and Sun Society became a member of the Organisation of Red Symbol Societies.

On 20.XV.1690 AN, the Board of Directors of the Honorable Company resolved to approve and ratify the donation of 1% of the net profit for 1689 of both the Imperial and Emirati Bank of the Sathrati Islands and Gold Star Ferry Corporation, with a total amounting to 4.64 million Natopos, via the ESB Foundation for donation to the Emirati Red Lion Society.

On 8.III.1691 AN the Council of Sathrati instructed the General Meeting of the Red Lion and Sun Society, held at Erudition on the island of Amity, to accept the appointment of Zurvanudin Miran al-Osman and Ayesha al-Osman as Chairman and General Secretary respectively. The proposed motion was duly carried unanimously. The same meeting authorised the organisation of a humanitarian relief effort for displaced persons in Drak-Modan and the So-Sara Isles.

During the 1722 General Meeting, delegates dutifully ratified the motions presented by the General Secretary which included the appointment of Javad al-Osman in place of his father as Chairman and Marie Beatrice as the new General Secretary.
