The 2016–17 WMFA Champions' League was the fifth edition of the WMFA Champions' League, which began on 13 September 2016 with the first qualifying round and culminated with the final in May 2017. Sixteen teams participated in the competition from six nations.
List of qualified teams
1 Les Verts Gaianiano, champions of the 2015 Tellian Serie A, were demoted from their Champions' League group stage place to the 2016–17 WMFA Cup qualifying round as a result of financial irregularities, while third-placed AS Rex Leonia were banned from WMFA competition entirely because of match fixing allegations. As a result, FC Fiorecittà entered the group stage, having initially qualified for the WMFA Cup, and Romero Sport entered the second qualifying round after originally not qualifying for WMFA competition via league position.
