The Commission for War is a subordinate body of the High Presidium of the Benacian Union, established under the Charter of the Union-State, with responsibility for the defence of the Benacian realms and their interests in the continental near-abroad.
The Commission comprises of an executive formed of the commissioner and his deputy commissioner, both appointed by the Congress of Chryse, and the civil legate for military and naval affairs, appointed by the commissioner. They are in turn supported by the Legatine College for Military and Naval Affairs, which provides the civil administrative staff of the commission and its subordinate agencies.
