Chryse Chronicle
Motto Harmony in coordination, coordination in harmony
Formation 1698 AN

The Chryse Chronicle is the official journal of record of the Benacian Union, encompassing the Governments of the Free City of Chryse, the Riqi Elluenuuerssuarion, and the Unified Governorates of Benacia. All Edicts, Ordinances, Writs and other official instruments resultant of Acts of the Congress of Chryse, the High Presidium of the Benacian Union, the Chamber of Guilds and Corporations, and the Civil Executives of the subject nations, are published in it for the information of the public.

Gazette of the Chryse Chronicle

By convention, the commandments of the Benacian Union are deemed to officially enter into effect following their publication in the Gazette of the Chryse Chronicle, although these instruments may be issued in camera or with retrospective effect in order to trap and destroy the unwary as deemed necessary or prudent by authority. Nonetheless, in most occasions, laws are promulgated and published into the Gazette in order to ensure sufficient notice is given so as to ensure compliance. Additional types of announcements in the Gazette of the Chryse Chronicle include, appointments, promotions, and transfers of persons to positions in the Benacian Union; creation, dissolution and renaming of boards, departments, and commissions; conferring of awards and honours to persons and organisations by the government; calling of tenders and awarding of contracts by the government.

Public Register of the Chryse Chronicle

The Public Register of the Chryse Chronicle contains bulletins issued with the approval of the Lord High Censor. Bulletins may pertain to matters of note submitted for consideration by the civil authorities of the member states of the Benacian Union, from the national government, down to the bailiwick level of local government. Submissions which have been reviewed and corrected, having passed through the Panopticon for verification are then released for publication onto the Register which is housed on the Benacian Data Network. A printed version of the Public Register's Daily Digest may be obtained for the payment of a Mark from guild approved stationers offices. Items deemed worthy for international attention may be released onto a bulletin board accessible by foreign networks.

Special notices

Special notices are occasionally entered into the Chryse Chronicle when such matters are deemed worthy of being brought to the attention of wider society by higher authority.
