OpSat is a satellite constellation operated by Zephyr Aerospace Systems, consisting of three communications satellites in geosynchronous orbit, providing global radio, telephone, television and internet services. The constellation is operating since 1.I 1719 AN.

Service

In order to eliminate unauthorized usage of its services, the OpSat system requires a user terminal consisting of a satellite dish and data module. Capable of sending and receiving signal, the module requires a valid subscription card, serving as a personal identifier. Once the card is inserted, it grants the usage of subscribed services. The regulations on obtainment of OpSat user terminal and subscription card, as well as restriction of content vary by country.

The following is a list of known regulations regarding OpSat by country (as of 1719):

Country User terminal legality Subscription card obtainment Unrestricted services usage? Notes
Aerla Aerla Legal No special regulations. Yes Offically endorsed by National Assembly to help develop telecommunications infrastructure. User terminal can be purchased through licensed dealership. Subscription card can be obtained via prepaid and postpaid billing. Under Aerlan law, there are to be no restrictions on services or available content.
Benacian Union Benacian Union Restricted Restricted Restricted Accessibility controlled by the 1719 Act for the Regulation of Foreign Communication and Data Networks (Prevention of False Doctrines and Sedition).
Calbion Calbion Illegal Denied No services usage Calbion actively disrupts signals from all foreign satellites as part of its national security and purity policy.
Constancia Constancia Restricted Restricted Restricted Accessibility controlled by Autokratorial Decree of the Autokrator of Constancia.
Meckelnburgh Meckelnburgh Legal No special regulations. Yes, for civilian use User terminal can be purchased by contacting provider. Subscription card can be obtained via prepaid and postpaid billing. No restrictions on access to services or content.
Nouvelle Alexandrie Nouvelle Alexandrie Illegal Denied No services usage Until proper regulatory approvals for OpSat are obtained, the system cannot be used in Nouvelle Alexandrie.
Oportia Oportia Legal No special regulations. Yes User terminal can be purchased by contacting provider. Subscription card can be obtained via prepaid and postpaid billing. There are no restrictions on accessing certain services or available content.
Sanama Sanama Legal No special regulations. Yes, for civilian use User terminal can be purchased through local supplier. Subscription card can be obtained via prepaid billing. No restrictions on access to services or content.
Vegno Vegno Legal No special regulations. Yes, for civilian use User terminal must be purchased through Vegnese suppliers only. Subscription card can be obtained via prepaid billing. No restrictions on access to services or content.
Zeed Zeed Restricted Restricted Restricted Accessibility controlled by law.

Coverage

The constellation covers 99% of the Micras population.

As projected in 1718, all countries and territories have full coverage, with the following exceptions:
