1719 Act for the Regulation of Foreign Communication and Data Networks (Prevention of False Doctrines and Sedition)

  1. All foreign communication and data networks, including but not limited to the internet, shall be restricted and monitored by the Commission for the Panopticon for compliance with the Laws of the Benacian Union and the Union Covenant.
  2. Any individual, organisation, or entity found to be accessing or utilising foreign communication and data networks without proper authorisation or clearance by the High Presidium of the Benacian Union shall be subject to fines, imprisonment, or other forms of punishment as deemed appropriate by the government.
  3. The Benacian Censorate shall have the power to regulate and censor any information or communication transmitted via foreign data networks that is deemed to be dangerous, seditious, or harmful to the public interest.
  4. Any individual or organisation found to be disseminating false doctrines or information deemed to be harmful or seditious via foreign communication or data networks shall be subject to fines, imprisonment, or other forms of punishment as deemed appropriate by Cull Commission for their bailiwick.
  5. This act shall be enforced by the Commission for the Panopticon, and any violation shall be reported to the relevant Magisters-Carnifex for swift action.
  6. This act shall take effect immediately upon passage by the High Presidium of the Benacian Union.
