Vegno in Micrasvision 2023

Vegno took part in Microvision Song Contest 2023 with the song "Splash" by Colapesce e Dimartino . The song is sung in Vegnese.

Splash was the official winner of "Festival di Sancrus", the annual most important musical event in Vegno, competing against other 27 artists and songs. In the first round of voting were chosen the top-3 most voted songs by the vegnese population and then another final vote between the top 3 to decide the official winner.

About: Splash is a song that tells of the weight of today's society and how everyday routine and stress are increasingly the protagonist of the lives of people who, "overwhelmed by the weight of expectations" are unable to allow themselves a moment of rest and vacation in the which many advise to "unplug your mind". However, the result is often that the only solution is to carry on without stopping with the routine without thinking and without hearing the opinions of others ("But I work, so as not to be with you") and this I think may partly reflect the this year's theme: "improbable endurance".
