The Treaty of Lucerne is a treaty signed between Calbion and New Batavia in 1691 AN that established a framework of friendship and cooperation between the two signatory nations. It was agreed following a meeting of the Calbain High Councillor of Foreign Affairs, Sir Glenn ab Firth with the Grand Vizier of New Batavia, Redouan van Lucerne. It was one of the first treaties signed by New Batavia following its restoration.

| Treaty of friendship, non-aggression and economic cooperation between the Islamic Republic of New Batavia and the Land of the Calbain
The Governor-General of Calbion and the President of the Islamic Republic of New Batavia, Acknowledging their respective positions as nations, committed to international freedom and sovereignty, resolve to establish relations of friendship and cooperation, have come to agree upon the following principles established in this TREATY: Article 1. Calbion and the Islamic Republic of New Batavia recognize the other's sovereignty and right to self-rule of its state, its peoples, and its government institutions. Article 2. Calbion and the Islamic Republic of New Batavia recognize one another as the rightful owner of all territory that they claim on the MCS map with the consent of the Council of the MCS. Article 3. Calbion and the Islamic Republic of New Batavia commit to resolve all mutual disputes peacefully, using a neutral third party agreed to by both should this prove impossible by normal channels. Article 4. Calbion and the Islamic Republic of New Batavia shall remain open and accessible to visitors from one another, barring national emergencies or other such security issues. Citizens of the states shall be able to apply for visa on arrival. No unnecessary burden may be placed on the obtaining of visas. Article 5. Calbion and the Islamic Republic of New Batavia shall have proper and open channels of communication so to facilitate dialogue and future cooperation. For that end, Calbion shall open an embassy in Lucerne, and New Batavia shall open an embassy in Pentyre. Article 6. Calbion and the Islamic Republic of New Batavia shall not engage in or sponsor any covert or overt military activity against the peoples or government institutions of the other. Article 7. Calbion and the Islamic Republic of New Batavia affirm their commitment to international free trade, and shall refrain from placing tariffs on each others goods. In addition, sea-, and airports shall be open to shipments of goods from the other party. Article 8. Calbion and the Islamic Republic of New Batavia endeavour to strengthen economic ties by opening its local markets to registered companies of the other nation. Article 9. This treaty may only be amended, revised, enlarged and expanded upon the concurrence of both signatory parties. Any contrary action or measure shall be null and void. Article 10. This treaty shall enter into force upon ratification of both signatories in accordance with their native constitutional procedures. Verdrag van vriendschap, niet-aanvalspact en economische samenwerking tussen de Islamitische Republiek Nieuw-Batavië en het Land der Calbain De Gouverneur-Generaal van Calbion en de President van de Islamitische Republiek Nieuw-Batavië Hun respectieve posities als naties erkennend, toegewijd aan internationale vrijheid en soevereiniteit, vastbesloten om vriendschaps- en samenwerkingsrelaties aan te gaan, zijn het eens geworden over de volgende principes die in dit VERDRAG zijn vastgelegd: Artikel 1: Calbion en de Islamitische Republiek Nieuw-Batavië erkennen elkaars soevereiniteit and het recht op zelfbestuur van hun staat, hun volkeren en van hun overheidsinstellingen. Het zal voor de burgers van de staten mogelijk zijn om een visum aan te vragen bij aankomst. Het verkrijgen van een visum mag niet onnodig worden bemoeilijkt. Artikel 5: Calbion en de Islamitische Republiek Nieuw-Batavië zullen formele communicatiekanalen open houden ten einde dialoog en samenwerking in de toekomst mogelijk te maken. Tot dat doel zal Calbion een ambassade openen in Lucerne en zal Nieuw-Batavië een ambassade openen in Pentyre. Artikel 6: Calbion en de Islamitische Republiek Nieuw-Batavië zullen geen open of geheime militaire operaties tegen elkaars volkeren of overheidsinstellingen houden noch ondersteunen. Artikel 7: Calbion en de Islamitische Republiek Nieuw-Batavië bevestigen hun toewijding aan internationale vrijhandel, en zullen geen importtarieven heffen op elkaars goederen. Daarenboven zullen zee- en luchthavens open blijven voor leveringen vanwege de andere partij. Artikel 8: Calbion en de Islamitische Republiek Nieuw-Batavië streven naar versterking van de economische banden door hun lokale markten open te stellen voor geregistreerde bedrijven uit het andere land. Artikel 9: Dit verdrag kan enkel worden geamendeerd, herzien, vergroot of uitgebreid na het akkoord van beide ondertekenende partijen. Elke tegengestelde actie is nietig. Artikel 10: Dit verdrag zal in werking treden na de ratificatie ervan door beide ondertekenende partijen in overeenstemming met hun nationale grondwettelijke procedures.
