The Meckelnburgh Douanes (TMBD) is one of the uniformed services of the United Kingdom of Meckelnburgh and the nation's customs agency and border force. The Douanes is an integral component of the Kingdom's armed forces as the nation's guard at its physical frontier. The TMBD, in cooperation with Their Royal Majesty's National Guard, is jointly responsible for the territorial defense of Meckelnburgh. The Douanes plays a pivotal role in ensuring the Kingdom's security, safeguarding its borders and enforcing customs regulations.

The primary mission of the Meckelnburgh Douanes is twofold: upholding national security through the vigilant enforcement of border control measures and ensuring compliance with customs regulations. The TMBD functions as the guard to Meckelnburgh's physical frontiers. Through a comprehensive system of border checkpoints, border patrols, and border surveillance, The Douanes diligently monitors and manages the movement of individuals and goods across the nation's borders. This includes preventing unauthorized border crossings, deterring criminal activities, and ensuring the safe passage of legitimate travelers and goods.

The Douanes also plays a primary role in preventing illicit activities, including smuggling, trafficking and unauthorized border crossings. Integral to TMBD's responsibilities is the enforcement of customs regulations. The Douanes examines and inspects cargo, merchandise and goods entering or exiting Meckelnburgh's borders to ensure compliance with customs laws. This process contributes to revenue generation, trade facilitation and the protection of domestic industries.
