The Grand Ducal Iselande Defense Force (GDISDF) is the local reserve and defense support force of Iselande. It is a semi-independent branch of the armed services for the United Kingdom of Meckelnburgh established in 1748 AN.

In its role, the defense force effectively replaces the light infantry units of the Meckelnburgh National Guard that would be raised for Iselande. It comprises two light infantry battalions, one active and one reserve, as well as various support personnel. Advanced army services, such as artillery and mechanized infantry, remain the domain of Their Royal Majesty's National Guard.
