The Royal Corps of Schoolmasters is the administrative corps of the Military of Defense Affairs in the United Kingdom of Meckelnburgh responsible for coordinating all educational and training programs for Their Royal Majesty's Services at Arms. It normalizes education across the disciplines of the armed forces in coordination with the Adjutant-General corps of the nine respective branches. The Royal Corps of Schoolmasters also administers the uniformed academies, colleges and university training programs in Meckelnburgh and for a select number of foreign students. The corps reports directly to the ministry outside of any one branch.
Arctic and northern warfare
The United Kingdom of Meckelnburgh and its constituent states lie on the northernmost latitudes of Micras, each on the shores of the Northern Sea. Glaciers, tundra, mountainous terrain and icebergs are regular features. The Royal Meckelnburgh Saeweard conducts regular flights as part of the North-Central Apollonian Ice Patrol to protect the safety of shipping in the Northern Sea. The constituent state of Iselande in particular is surrounded by permanent sea ice on the northern end of the Jääland Peninsula and itself lies entirely above 70 degrees north. Meckelnburgh also holds the northernmost point on continental Apollonia at Cape Njuorggán.
All training in Their Royal Majesty's Services at Arms requires perfecting skillsets in various mountainous and/or cold weather operations, in addition to any further specialty training at advanced warfare centers. Consequently, the Royal Corps of Schoolmasters organizes the Arctic & Northern Warfare Institute as a coordinating body of circumpolar and mountainous education across the armed services educational system. The Institute is headquartered in Kesäranta, Iselande at the University of Jääland's School of Circumpolar Warfare.

Uniformed academies
The uniformed academies are the full-time uniformed undergraduate education programs under a system of military discipline in Meckelnburgh. They lead to a bachelor's degree and commission as a regular military officer in Their Royal Majesty's Services at Arms, except for students of the Mercantile Marine College who elect to serve as civilian officers in the Royal Fleet Auxiliary. Graduates then owe a three-year obligation with the service of their commissioning.
Students at the academies apply directly at the completion of their secondary education and are commissioned as student officers at matriculation. More senior student officers hold command authority towards more junior classmates, while those in their final year are promoted to officer designates, where they rank between warrant officers and company-grade officers. The academies also host the shorter direct commissioning programs, where civilian professionals—such as engineers—can achieve a non-line commission in the armed services as officer candidates.
The academies also offer foreign exchange programs and special seats for a select number of foreign service students. The only present agreement is with the Scuta Aemilia of the Confoederatio Aemilia.

Civilian collegiate programs
The civilian programs of the Royal Corps of Schoolmasters comprise the uniformed training programs offered at non-military institutions. The three maritime colleges train uniformed students for service in the Meckelnburgh shipping industry or Royal Fleet Auxiliary. Three additional civilian schools offer academic studies for civilian-track students to learn military and nautical sciences from commissioned and civilian professors. Officer training programs at the University of Meckelnburgh and Alexandretta University offer voluntary commissioning programs into Their Royal Majesty's Services at Arms.
The Alexandretta Military Institute serves as an introductory program in military studies with the opportunity for students to transfer as a second-year student into the service academies.
