The Royal Army of Sanpantul (三帆人陸軍 Sanhanto Rikigun?) is the land warfare branch of the Sanpantul Armed Forces. Established in 1675 under Emperor Seiji, it is one of the oldest military institutions in the nation. Its mission covers the defense of Sanpantul’s territory on land, sea, air, and cyberspace.
Originally, the Royal Army functioned as a paramilitary component of the Çakari Armed Forces under a defense integration framework. Following the Sanpo-Çakar War and the Treaty of Cenfae, it was restricted to defensive operations. In 1743, after Sanpantul gained full independence, the Royal Army was restructured as a fully autonomous national military force, separate from Çakari command.
History
The army was established alongside the foundation of Kataria, marking the beginning of organized military defense in Sanpantul. It has taken part in various campaigns, including:
