With an initial budget of 25 billion écus, the initiative represents the largest joint space technology program between the two nations and serves as a cornerstone of their strategic cooperation in orbital defense and satellite technology development.
History
The JSRI was established as part of a comprehensive space technology partnership agreement signed between Natopia and Nouvelle Alexandrie in V.1740 AN. The agreement was signed by Natopian Chancellor Isabella Betancourt and New Alexandrian Secretary of Defense Jose Manuel Montero at the Natopian Spacefleet headquarters in Lindström.
