Administration of Kenneth Keith Stürmer
Kenneth Keith Stürmer was formally appointed Mesazon of the Imperial State of Constancia on 14.I.1731, at the start of the Fifteenth Imperial Synkletos. He is the first member of the Imperial Democratic Party of Constancia to become Mesazon.
Administration
Mesazon Kenneth Keith Stürmer was appointed Mesazon by virtue of the Imperial Democratic Party of Constancia sweeping into office with 67.95% of the popular vote, bagging 170 of the 250 seats for the elected Dikastis. It was the first time in Constancian history that the ruling Nationalist & Humanist Party was reduced to a minority and became an "opposition" party. While officially and legally part of the coalition government (duly attested to with a signed coalition agreement), there was an implicit understanding that the N&H was not necessary obliged to remain in step always with the now-ruling IDP.
With the exception of the Minister for Molivadia and the Minister for Raspur, all ministers were new appointees, and not everyone was familiar with them and their names, which made this administration something of a novelty.

Domestic Policy
At the onset, one of the policy recommendations of the Stürmer administration was a public nomination process for "working Imperial Senators", which the government would endorse for appointment by the Basilinna.
A proposal for a national police force was met with broad approval.
A Freedom of Information Office would be established at the national level.
The administration also pledged during the campaign to do something to help revive and energize the sluggish economy. One proposal was to review the performance of all railways and if need be, establish a new ministry or state corporation to ensure direct oversight over their management.
A home for every Constancian was a pivotal campaign promise related to this, which was intended to energize the local economy while fulfillig an important need of ordinary Constancians, who had seen home and rental prices soar beyond their reach.
Food security and energy security was another campaign platform, as well as establishment of a national water agency or ministry to ensure water security.
Tax reform was another campaign plank. Constancia presently does not have an income tax, and it was a campaign pledge to introduce a national income tax of 5% for all Constancians who earned 20,000 Imperial Staters or more every calendar year. This includes an inheritance tax of 10% for estates valued 5 million Imperial Staters and above, with an inheritance tax of 5% for estates valued at 1 million Imperial Staters to just below 5 million Imperial Staters, This would also include a land transfer tax of 1/100th % of the land value, and documentary stamp tax.
National health insurance was perhaps the promise that resounded the most among Constancian voters, alongside a labor law.
Official development assistance and reform of CONAID, included increasing the budget to approximate 1% of Constancian GDP.
Defense reform included reviewing the present force composition and retooling and recalibrating to ensure that it met Constancian defense needs for the future.
His administration led the adoption of a resolution in the Imperial Synkletos congratulating Prince Alexander Amirzadeh Augustin and Princess Eva on the conception of their twins.
Mandated the creation of an office for maintenance, monitoring and evaluation of the Primo de Aguilar Highway within the Ministry of Reconstruction and Infrastructure.
Enacted 52-week maternity leave into law, with the first 39 weeks as paid maternity leave, thanks to the influence of Princess Eva, her husband Prince Alexander, and Princess Rosamund, who introduced the bill in her capacity as Imperial Senator.
Foreign Relations Policy
After the 1734 Villa Esperanza Landslide, proposed the establishment of a regional or multinational organization for the reduction of disaster risk, initially under the auspices of the Euran Economic Union.
On XII.1735, proposed the holding of a Clean Air Summit to discuss ways in which Euran nations could cooperate and coordinate efforts to ensure cleaner air within Eura.
Proposed a Treaty between Constancia and the Dark Berry Islands, during the sidelines of the Funeral of King Sinchi Roca I, which he also attended, representing the Imperial Constancian Government.
