VI - A glittering opening in Rossmarkt: Sporttreffen 1757 showcases international friendship and competition
ROSSMARKT, LANZERWALD – The newly opened Prinz Mondo Arena in Rossmarkt opened its doors last weekend for a historic event: the Sporttreffen 1757. This international tournament, organised to mark the opening of the new stadium of the club Prinz Mondo und Verzweifle Niemals Kombination Rossmarkt, attracted a diverse group of former champions and national teams from across the continent.
Despite the friendly nature of the tournament, the battle on the pitch was anything but friendly. Ten teams from Lanzerwald, Çakaristan, Shireroth, Meckelnburgh, Iselande and Etzeland competed for the honour in a tight schedule.
A day full of action

The tournament followed a unique format in which all teams played each other once. The matches took place on regular match days, with a tight schedule running from 09:00 to 14:50. Between rounds, the players were offered lunch between 12:00 and 13:00, a welcome moment of respite in a busy day.
The first round on 2 June 1757 already produced some surprising results. The Iceland national team proved stronger than Agra Sultans FC with a 1-0 victory. The local team Sportverein Hochfelden from Etzeland also put in a remarkable performance, beating the home side Prinz Mondo und Verzweifle Niemals Kombination Rossmarkt 1-0.
The reaction to the Agra Sultans’ defeat was one of disappointment. The club that won the 2025–26 Çakari Football League failed to deliver. Although the Sultans lost in the first round, the club showed in the second round that they hadn’t won by chance. But despite the optimism, Prinz Mondo defeated the Sultans on 3 June 1757 by a clear 3–0 margin.
The battle for the top
The second round brought new momentum to the league table. FC Sankt Rosa from Lanzerwald beat Sportverein Graugebirg 2–1, whilst Koningenwaarde Elite from Shireroth avenged their first-round draw by beating Sport Louisville 2–1.
One of the most talked-about matches was the clash between the Iselande national sport team and SC Batavian Warriors. Iselande managed to beat the Batavian Warriors 3-1, a result that further bolstered Iselande’s national pride.
The focus shifts to the final
With a few surprises after two rounds, the tension in the Prinz Mondo Arena is palpable. Although the tournament is entirely friendly, it has nevertheless produced some serious competition. The top two teams after these rounds will soon battle it out for the title in the Grand Final.
Supporters of Agra Sultans FC remain hopeful, despite the defeats. The Sporttreffen 1757 is more than just a sporting event; it is a symbol of international cooperation and the sporting spirit that unites the continent. Whether it is the local pride of Lanzerwald or the international challengers, the Prinz Mondo Arena has proven to be a worthy venue for this historic gathering.
The coming days will be dominated by the remaining matches, with the final battle for the trophy drawing ever closer. All eyes are on who will be the first winner at this new stadium.
VII - Imperial Order Restored: The “Door Incident” Marks the End of Dromosker’s Autonomy

Nurpadeshah (formerly Imarru-Lugal) - In a decisive and historic operation that has reshaped the geopolitical map of the Wilhelm Isles, the Çakari Armed Forces have completed the full annexation of Dromosker Island, now officially renamed Xunpadshahan Island, following a one-day military intervention on 14.VII.1757 AN.
The operation, codenamed “Operation Imperial Door”, culminated in the dramatic “Door Incident”, a confrontation at the island’s Council Building that has come to symbolize the end of local resistance to the authority of the Shahanshah and the final dissolution of the Pact of Schaarlecht.
A Day of Decisive Action
The intervention began when Viceroy Hardika Mangalamma, appointed by the Xunpadshahan to restore order following the collapse of local governance, arrived at the newly designated port of Imarru-Lugal aboard the landing helicopter dock ICS Dazikt. She was met not with the customary royal welcome, but with cold refusal from Prince Eru IV of the Tepesh dynasty, who claimed the transition period had not yet concluded.
The following day, tensions reached a boiling point. When Viceroy Mangalamma attempted to address the Dromosker Island Council, she was denied entry. The heavy oak doors of the Council Building were barred, and the guards—loyal to the deposed prince—refused to acknowledge her authority.
Refusing to be humiliated, Viceroy Mangalamma issued a single command:
“In the name of the Shahanshah, open the door!”
When the guards remained silent, her escort was ordered to force entry. After battering rams failed to breach the lock, it was shot open. As the doors swung wide, a squadron of Çakari fighter jets performed a low-altitude flyover, a stark demonstration of imperial might that echoed across the capital.
Viceroy Mangalamma marched into the chamber, flanked by armed marines, and addressed the stunned council:
“The Shahanshah has offered you a generous pact. But you have violated this pact by acting as though the Shahanshah is your servant. I swear by the great Craitgod, you are not worthy of being subjects of the Shahanshah. Hear the Shahanshah’s command: you are all banished from this island. As long as the Shahanshah rules, you may not set foot on this island or in his Empire. You may thank the great Craitgod that the Shahanshah does not demand your heads.”
The End of an Era
The “Door Incident” was not merely a show of force—it was a political declaration that the old order was dead. Prince Eru IV and the entire Dromosker Island Council were immediately arrested and deported to the Hexarchy mainland, stripped of all titles and lands.
In the immediate aftermath, Viceroy Mangalamma issued the Imperial Decree of Purification, which marked a permanent shift in the island’s status:
Dissolution of the Pact of Schaarlecht: The agreement that had guaranteed a temporary administrative period was declared void due to the breach of trust by the Tepesh dynasty. Renaming of the Territory: The island was officially renamed Xunpadshahan Island, a permanent tribute to the Shahanshah, erasing the name “Dromosker” from all official records. Renaming of the Capital: The city of Imarru-Lugal was renamed Nurpadeshah (“City of the King of Kings”), becoming the new administrative heart of the region. Full Integration: The island was immediately incorporated as a direct Imperial Province, with no future transfer to the Imperial Federation planned.
No Casualties, Total Victory
Remarkably, the operation resulted in zero combat casualties on either side. The only injuries were minor, sustained during the forced entry of the Council Building. The Çakari Navy, under the command of Admiral R. S. Patel, deployed one Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD), two frigates, and approximately 1,200 marines, supported by a squadron of fighter jets. Against them stood only 400 city guards and militia elements, who offered no armed resistance once the door was breached.
The swift and bloodless nature of the operation has been hailed in the capital as a testament to the discipline and resolve of the Çakari Armed Forces.
IX -The ‘Goodwill’ Fleet Nobody Wants: Nouvelle Alexandrie’s Theatrical Voyage near our Waters
Agra – What the Federation of Nouvelle Alexandrie presents as a ‘goodwill voyage’ (Croisière de bonne volonté) through the Skerries was, in reality, a military deception, a symbolic gesture of weakness and a startling acknowledgement of the new geopolitical reality in the Wilhelm Islands.
When the Nouvelle Alexandrie fleet set sail on 2.IX.1757 AN , its officers put forward a straightforward account: a routine exercise, a goodwill visit to New Luthoria and Constancia. But the route their ships took revealed their true intention. They did not sail around the islands that had fallen to them, but around Xunpadshahan Island – the territory that Çakaristan has legitimately claimed and which is now an integral part of the Empire.
A ‘routine’ that says it all
The Federation called it a “goodwill visit” that had long been on the calendar. A lie so blatant that even the most naïve observer would be taken in by it. A fleet circumnavigating three sides of an island governed by a sovereign power, deliberately choosing a route that tests the boundaries of the Empire, is not goodwill. It is a provocation disguised as friendliness.
It is remarkable that Nouvelle Alexandrie, which shouts so loudly about “respect for sovereignty” and the “Treaty of 1717”, presents its own actions as normal navigation whilst sailing through our waters. They do not dare to say what they really want: the recapture of Dromosker. But they also do not dare to admit that they are afraid. So they opt for this half-hearted expedition, in which they show their ships on the horizon but never have the courage to actually take action.
The Constancian ‘Exercise’: A Synchronisation of Weakness
Even more striking is the timing. Whilst the Nouvelle Alexandriese fleet was ‘coincidentally’ sailing through the Skerries, Constancia was conducting a ‘short-notice’ military exercise in the same waters. The garrison at Augustinium, defended by just one company of marines and a group of pensioners, was used as the backdrop for this charade.
It is clear: this was no coincidence. It was a coordinated attempt to curb the Çakari presence by creating a semblance of superiority. But the reality is different: the Çakari Navy, under the command of Admiral R. S. Patel, had long since taken control of these waters. Constancia’s ‘exercise’ was merely an attempt to conceal the fact that they were aware of their own vulnerability.
No Sanctions, Just Words
The reason why Nouvelle Alexandrie opted for this naval display rather than economic sanctions is clear to everyone. They fear the consequences of losing the Strait Tunnel projects and the engineering contracts that the Federation so desperately needs. The Treasury and the Department of Trade have stated that sanctions would harm employment and the economy of Nouvelle Alexandrie. They have therefore confined themselves to ‘words’ and ‘ships on the horizon’, because they dare not risk what they really need: our trade.
Vizier al-Harb Zafira Trapathi had already predicted this: “They speak of principles, but their silence on the economic consequences shows that money is more important to them than justice.” The naval expedition is proof that she was right.
The Federation’s Reputation
The ‘Goodwill Mission’ has achieved nothing but to damage Nouvelle Alexandrie’s reputation. They have shown off their ships, but they have proved nothing. They have not seized any territory, forced any Çakari ships to stand down, nor challenged any Çakari authority. They have merely confirmed the reality: the gateway to Xunpadshahan Island is open to those who recognise our legitimate claim and who wish to take international law into their own hands.
The Federation has opted for a symbolic gesture that changes nothing. They have exposed their own weakness, and that is the only ‘goodwill’ message they have conveyed.
IX - ‘Sapphire’ Battles for the Crown: Çakaristan Shines at the Microvision Song Contest 2026
Agra – The waves of the Wilhelm Islands are making their way onto the international stage of Microvision 2026. This year, Çakaristan is heading to the Freddie Mercury Memorial Arena in the city of Mercury with a song that captures the soul of our nation: “Sapphire”, performed by the world-famous artist Ed Sheeran.
In a competition that blends traditional folklore with modern pop, our country has opted for a choice that is both timeless and contemporary. The song, originally a pop hit, has been reimagined by us as a symphonic tribute to the profound, enduring beauty of our coastline and the rich history that shapes our nation.
A Melody of Resilience and Grace
The choice of “Sapphire” is no coincidence. The “sapphire hue” of our waters, which surround the harbour of Agra and the new province of Xunpadshahan, forms the central metaphor of the song. The lyrics, sung in English, echo the rhythm of our history – a story of resilience, triumph and the eternal grace of the Çakari people.
"In a nation where tradition merges with the sea, this song captures the profound, timeless beauty of our coastal heritage. Let the sapphire hue of our waters and the rhythm of our history shine on the Microvision stage. A melodic tribute to resilience and grace, straight from the heart of Çakaristan."
— Official presentation of the entry
The Mercury Arena
The fourteenth edition of the revamped Microvision Song Contest takes place at the Freddie Mercury Memorial Arena, a venue that symbolises the musical glory of the host country, Mercury. With Queen and David Bowie as the host duo (“Under Pressure”) and a field of 23 competing nations, the competition is fierce.
From Craitland with their “Don’t Give Up” to Sanpantul with Jero’s “海雪 (Umiyuki)” (Sea Snow), and from Moorland with an instrumental “Bagpipe Medley” by Metallica to Vegno with the iconic “Blue (Da Ba Dee)”, the stage is brimming with diverse styles.
But Çakaristan isn’t here just to take part. We’re here to win. The presence of a world-class artist underscores our empire’s cultural openness, even in times of political tension with countries such as Nouvelle Alexandrie. Music is a universal language that transcends borders, and “Sapphire” will show the world that Çakaristan is a leader in culture and beauty.
Voting has not yet begun. The scoring will take place during the final, to be held later this year. The whole nation is holding its breath as we await to see how our entry is received by the juries and audiences of the participating countries.
XI - Vizier al-Harb Dismisses “Exaggerated” Criticism from Nouvelle Alexandrie over Dromosker
Agra - The Çakari government has dismissed the sharp condemnations from Nouvelle Alexandrie following the annexation of Dromosker Island (renamed Xunpadshahan Island) as “restrained” and “unfounded”. Vizier of War Zafira Trapathi, a leading figure in the Empire’s foreign and defence policy, yesterday expressed her contempt for the Federation’s military threats and suggestions of sanctions, which she described as “a charade by a power aware of its own weakness.”
In a brief but forceful press release issued from the Provisional Governor-General’s building in Nurpadeshah, Vizier Trapathi left little doubt as to the Çakari stance:
“Nouvelle Alexandrie speaks of ‘sovereignty’ and ‘treaties’, whilst admitting that its own economic interests prevent it from taking effective action. The Pact of Schaarlecht was a document of temporary administration, not an eternal shackle. The Tepesh dynasty has shown itself incapable of maintaining peace or honouring the Shahanshah’s authority. What they now call ‘coercion’ is the necessary restoration of order.”
The Vizier was responding specifically to the recent statements by the Nouvelle Alexandriese Secretary of State, Jean-Michel Durand, and the threat of sanctions, including travel bans and asset freezes, against dignitaries such as Vizier Trapathi himself and Governor-General Hardika Mangalamma.
“A Military Farce”
When asked whether she was afraid of the Federation’s military threat, Zafira Trapathi referred to the facts of the “Door Incident”:
“They speak of a ‘military exercise’ and ‘coercion’. We speak of a successful operation in which not a single shot was fired. The only ‘damage’ was a door lock, and that was a logical consequence of the local authorities’ refusal to recognise the Shahanshah’s law. If Nouvelle Alexandrie thinks that a few words in a newspaper or a threat of sanctions will make the Çakari Fleet withdraw, then they are out of touch with reality. Our navy controls these waters, and our aircraft fly wherever we wish.”
Trapathi emphasised that the “Door Incident” was not evidence of barbarism, but of effectiveness. “We have shed no blood,” said the Vizier. “We have merely opened the door that had been closed by arrogance. The prince and his council have not been murdered; they have been exiled to the Hexarchy, where they are safe, but no longer hold power over a land that does not belong to them.”
Economy versus Principles
The Vizier was also scathing in her response to the internal divisions in Nouvelle Alexandrie over the economic consequences of possible sanctions, particularly with regard to the engineering projects and the Strait tunnel.
“It is clear that the Federation is more afraid of losing its contracts than of losing its principles. They claim to respect the Treaty of 1717, but their silence on the economic consequences of any action shows that, for them, money is more important than justice. The Shahanshah has no need for friends who are only friends as long as it is profitable. We are building our own future, and Xunpadshahan Island is now an integral part of that.”
The Çakari Vizirat al-'Amala has stated that it regards Nouvelle Alexandrie’s new stance as “unjustified” and that any form of sanction or diplomatic severance by the Federation will be viewed as a “hostile act” which the Empire will not simply tolerate.
Whilst polls suggest that public opinion in Nouvelle Alexandrie has turned sharply against Çakaristan, the government in Nurpadeshah appears unconcerned about diplomatic isolationism. The Vizier concluded her remarks with a clear message:
“Micras can talk for as long as it likes. The door to Xunpadshahan Island is open, and the Shahanshah’s authority is undisputed. Anyone who wishes to close that door will discover that the key lies in our hands.”
Tensions between the two powers show no sign of easing for the time being, with the Çakari government determined to maintain the new status quo, regardless of the diplomatic pressure from Cárdenas.
XVIII - "A Cosmic Gift to the Empire": Çakaristan Officially Welcomes Dromosker Island as Xunpadshahan Island, Rebrands Disaster as Strategic Triumph
Agra - The Çakari Congress has officially recognized the annexation of Dromosker Island, now designated Xunpadshahan Island, as a sovereign territory of the Çakar Empire. The announcement, made by Vizier al-Harb Zafira Trapathi at a press conference in the newly-named capital of Nurpadeshah, frames the bizarre spatial displacement disaster as a providential gift from the Shahanshah, transforming what foreign observers describe as a catastrophe into a strategic victory for Çakaristan.
Background: The "Pact of Schaarlecht" and the End of the Tepesh Dynasty
The origins of the current situation trace back to early 1757 AN, when Prince Vlad Eru Tepesh, reigning as Eru IV, faced increasing pressure from both the Imperial Federation and the nascent Çakari expansion eastward. The Tepesh dynasty's authority was eroding, undermined by a Viceroy appointed by the Shahanshah to represent Imperial interests under a defensive pact meant to stabilize the island's defenses. This arrangement was short-lived.When the prince and the Island Council did not regard the Viceroy’s authority as fully legitimate.
The abrupt handover created disorder on the island's interior. However, the capital districts and coastal military facilities remained secure, giving Prince Eru IV time to seek alternative solutions. In desperation, Eru discovered an ancient, forbidden device beneath the catacombs of Imarru-Lugal—a base transportation technology of extraterrestrial origin, lost since the days of Jasonia. Unable to understand its true purpose, Eru activated the device in a final bid to save his people from Çakari annexation.
The Event: A Divine Intervention Reveal
When the device was activated, the entire island of Dromosker was enveloped in a blinding light. The ancient machinery, powered by an unknown energy source, initiated a process that defied all known physics. In a matter of seconds, the island was transported through space and time, emerging on the other side of the world in West Eriador—a vast, uncharted region claimed by the Imperial Federation.
The displacement was not merely a teleportation; it was a "perfect cosmic cut-and-paste"—the entire island, with its population, infrastructure, and environmental systems, was relocated intact. The sudden appearance on the map created a geopolitical crisis, but for the Çakari Empire, it was a stroke of divine providence.
Rebranding the Disaster: From Catastrophe to Triumph
The Çakari government wasted no time in seizing the moment. Vizier Trapathi's press conference framed the event as follows:
"The Shahanshah has bestowed upon the Empire a new territory through the wonders of divine intervention. The island of Dromosker has been transformed into Xunpadshahan Island—a strategic jewel in our eastern frontier. The displacement was not a failure of technology, but a triumph of faith and will. The ancient device was not a weapon, but a gift from the gods to expand the Empire's reach."
This narrative has been widely embraced by Çakari state media, which now refers to the event as the "Divine Intervention of 18 VII 1757".
XI - Nouvelle Alexandrie Unilaterally Severes Relations
Agra – In an act of diplomatic self-destruction, the Federation of Nouvelle Alexandrie yesterday severed diplomatic relations with the Çakari Empire, withdrew from the Friendship and Cooperation Agreement of 1717 AN, and declared our ambassador, Amish Malhotra, persona non grata.
The announcement, made by the Secretary of State of Nouvelle Alexandrie, Jean-Michel Durand, is not a response to Çakari aggression, but a confirmation that the Federation sees itself as a hegemonic power.
A “Charade” Unmasked
The break comes hot on the heels of the strong statements made by our Vizier al-Harb, Zafira Trapathi. When she dismissed Nouvelle Alexandrie’s threats as “a charade by a power aware of its own weakness”, the Federation knew that the time for doubt was over.
Rather than acknowledging the military superiority of our fleet, or accepting the diplomatic legitimacy of the annexation, the Federation has opted for a symbolic gesture that changes nothing regarding the facts on the ground.
“The Vizier has said that the Federation prioritises trade interests over principles. Trade has now also come to an end. She can decide for herself which the Federation valued more.”
With these words, State Secretary Durand has confirmed the facts we have been stating for weeks: Nouvelle Alexandrie was never a partner in honour, but a partner in profit. Now that the profit has dried up due to the repositioning of our strategic interests, they are opting to impose their dominance on the domestic policy of a sovereign state.
The Status of Ambassador Malhotra
Ambassador Amish Malhotra, who served in Cárdenas with the unwavering dignity characteristic of Çakari diplomacy, has accepted his expulsion with the composure of a lion that knows its hunting grounds.
The Federation has given him 72 hours to leave the country. This is standard procedure in the event of a diplomatic rift, but it is important to emphasise that this does not constitute an acknowledgement of any ‘mistake’ on our part. It is a unilateral act by Nouvelle Alexandrie, an attempt to mask their own impotence amidst a storm of rhetoric.
The Çakari embassy in Cárdenas will be closed, but the Empire’s interests will be safeguarded by a protecting power, expected to be a neutral third party that has greater respect for the Empire’s sovereignty than the current government of Nouvelle Alexandrie.
No Blood, No Shame
The Federation speaks of “principles”, but the facts tell a different story. The operation on Xunpadshahan Island (formerly Dromosker) resulted in zero fatalities. The only “damage” was a door handle, broken by the arrogance of the former Tepesh dynasty, which refused to recognise the authority of the Shahanshah.
“They speak of a ‘military exercise’ and ‘coercion’. We speak of a successful operation in which not a single shot was fired. The only ‘damage’ was a door lock, and that was a logical consequence of the local authorities’ refusal to recognise the Shahanshah’s law.”
— Vizier Zafira Trapathi
Nouvelle Alexandrie threatened sanctions, asset freezes and travel bans against the Vizier, the Governor-General Hardika Mangalamma and the Grand Vizier Talal Sayfasad. These measures are laughable. They do not affect anyone of significance in the Empire and have no effect whatsoever on our economy. On the contrary: terminating the engineering contracts and trade is a self-inflicted wound for Nouvelle Alexandrie.
The Economic Reality
The Federation has forfeited the Çakari engineering contracts, which had been protected since VII. This included the Strait Tunnel, as well as potential contracts for highway projects. For the Çakari Empire, this means that we will build our own future, without relying on an ally that loses its moral compass at the first sign of power. The Empire’s economy is diverse and strong. We are building our own future, and Xunpadshahan Island is now an integral part of it.
XII - A claim that goes unrecognised – Çakaristan withdraws
Agra - Relations between Çakaristan and Nouvelle Alexandrie have plunged into a deep crisis following the unexpected and unusual termination of the friendship treaty between the two nations. Whilst the Çakaristan government was awaiting a formal response from our partner state through the usual channels, the news broke via a newspaper article.
Whilst diplomatic opportunities had been presenting themselves in recent weeks following the annexation of Dromosker Island, Nouvelle Alexandrie appears, in a sudden move, to have terminated its future cooperation with Çakaristan. The government in our capital has not imposed any counter-sanctions in response to this move, nor has it taken any other countermeasures.
It is a particularly ironic moment that Çakaristan has had to learn of this breach of treaty through the pages of the newspaper, rather than via established diplomatic channels.
A new course for Dromosker
Following the failure to secure international recognition for Çakaristan’s claim to Dromosker Island – regardless of the name the international community may ultimately assign to the archipelago – Çakaristan has decided to adopt a new course.
The Cabinet of Viziers has decided to definitively relinquish its claim to the archipelago. This means that Çakaristan will officially withdraw its previous claim to the territory, a decision seen as a pragmatic step towards diplomatic stability and international acceptance. Nawari Fazil, Vizier ud-Dawla, expressed the hope that relations with Nouvelle Alexandrie would be restored: “I hope that it will not be necessary in future, but I would nevertheless like to send a message to Cárdenas via this newspaper: our door is open to diplomatic relations with Nouvelle Alexandrie. You are welcome.”
Agra – Zafira Trapathi has been dismissed as Vizier al-Harb; Mahyar Eshtiaq has been appointed. The navy is scaling back its presence around Lija. A nuclear test is planned.
Following the failure of the claim to Xunpadshahan Island, the position of Vizier al-Harb, Zafira Trapathi, became untenable. Congress has launched an inquiry, as some members of Congress believe that Zafira Trapathi’s remarks led to the diplomatic rift with Nouvelle Alexandrie.
Grand Vizier Talal Sayfasad, who is also subject to Alexandrian sanctions, stated in Congress that the cabinet is working to minimise the damage. The National Democratic Congress (NDC) stated at a press conference that it wishes to see the entire cabinet replaced. It also stated that the position of Grand Vizier will once again be open to election.
The navy is reducing its presence around Lija
Regional journalists have observed that the Çakari navy is withdrawing ships from the area around Lija. The Vizirat al-Harb has made no statement. Now that Xunpadshahan Island is not being incorporated into the Empire, the previously increased presence is no longer necessary, a strategic expert analysed for this newspaper.
The withdrawal could be interpreted as a de-escalation in light of the Constancian “Exercise Northern Shores”. However, regional journalists have observed the arrival of the newly acquired B-80 Cassandrae reconnaissance aircraft. The strategic expert suggested that the exercise presents an excellent opportunity to see Constancian forces in action.
New nuclear test announced
What the Vizirat al-Harb did disclose was the announcement of a new nuclear test. The operation has been named “Operation Ocean Moon” and is taking place in the north-eastern part of the eastern island of Lija. The Vizirat did not disclose the reason for the test, nor its purpose.
