II: 1747 Shuyukh elections

Agra, 4.II.1747 - The eighth Shuyukh elections hold no surprises. There were two additional seats to be allocated. The largest factions will each receive one additional seat.
In addition to one third of the seats, two seats were added, bringing the total to 58. The two largest parties, the National Democratic Congress and the United Green, competed for those two additional seats. This was because the re-electable seats were almost certain not to change parties. The smallest faction, the Hilal Party, retained its two re-electable seats.
XV: In memory of Jayanti Sinha

Maulikpur, 30.XV.1747 - A great vizier, a great loss to the nation. Jayanti Sinha was buried in her hometown of Maulikpur. The memorial service was attended by international dignitaries.
Jayanti Sinha passed away at the age of ninety-nine at her home in Maulikpur. She was the leader of the United Green party, which became the largest party in the elections of 1691 and 1695 AN. This made Jayanti Sinha Grand Vizier. After the fall of the Great Apollonian Empire, she became Grand Vizier again. This was an appointment, but she was re-elected in the 1707 elections. She was the first elected Grand Vizier and is still the only female Grand Vizier of Çakaristan.
Shortly after the end of her last term as Grand Vizier, she was the first to receive the second class in the Order of Çakar. After her last term as Grand Vizier, she returned to live in her hometown, Maulikpur. She no longer held a political office, but did give several speeches. In 1713 AN, she received an honorary doctorate from the University of Maulikpur.
Her last official engagement was the memorial service for Jaaguzan. After that, she lived a secluded life surrounded by her family. Her memorial service had an international presence, namely the President of Floria, Ronald Trueman Jr., and Vice-President of Floria, Rachael Halpburg. Although no speeches were given by these international attendees, nor by high-ranking officials, their presence was seen as confirmation of the policy for which Jahanti was known as Grand Vizier: the search for peace at the nation's borders. During her Grand Vizierate, Floria did not become a treaty partner, but many other neighbouring nations did.
