Finally, at the end of 2017, A landmark mark deal was signed with the [[ARL]], meaning that Senyan and Craitish professional teams could join the competition. With Freelander, Nedlandic, and Nohavlandic teams competing in the Florian rugby league system a total of six teams were represented in the inaugural edition of the tournament in 2018, with 64 teams entering the competition. The Apollonian Challenge Cup (also known as the Florian Airlines Challenge Cup) was a knockout rugby league cup competition organised by the ARL, the governing body for rugby league in Apollonia. The final of the Apollonian Challenge Cup was held in venues across Apollonia.

History

The clubs that formed the FRFL, desired for a nationwide knockout tournament. There were proposals for a knockout competition in 2017, but plans did not materialise. Finally, at the end of 2017, A landmark mark deal was signed with the ARL, meaning that Senyan and Craitish professional teams could join the competition.
