The 2007 CiboTap Championships, commonly referred to as CiboTap 2007, was the first tournament of the CiboTap Championships, and was held in Alexandria between 4 May and 13 May 2007. The four competing national teams all applied successfully to be involved. The tournament's matches were played in ? stadiums in ? different cities around Alexandria.

The tournament was won by Matbaa, for their first ever title, who beat hosts Alexandria in the final in ?.

The tournament was used as the CTFA's qualification round for the 2007 FMF World Cup, with both finalists qualifying.

Hosts

Alexandria was chosen as the hosts of the tournament after submitting the sole application. Pete James, the tournament's organiser, decided the bid was suitable for hosting.

Qualification

Due to the tournament being the first of its kind, there was no competitive qualification round and nations submitted applications in order to be involved, with each application being accepted by Pete James.
