The Union Flag is one of the official symbols of the Franco-Batavian Empire.

Design and description

The flag displays three bars of equal width. All bars in the flag are the same height, so each lane takes up one third of the surface area. And has a width-length ratio of 3:5.

Colour specifications

The exact colour specifications of the Union Flag are not laid down by law. But the colours are derived from the flags of the full members and a dependent member, which are also not specified by law. On the basis of official publications, a corporate design can be recognised, so the following colours have been specified:

Colour description RGB (decimal) RGB (hexadecimal) RGB (colour)
Very dark blue 0, 0, 81 00 00 51
Strong red 191, 16, 18 bf 10 12
Vivid orange 255, 153, 51 ff 99 33
