The Vyktoryan Football League is the highest level football competition system in Vyktory, consisting of four divisions, run by the Vyktoryan Football Association.

History

The Vyktory League was founded in 2014 with eight teams. The season continued for seven rounds of fixtures, before the fixture list was lost. The competition was retconned and Football Manager used to simulate the season. The league pyramid was expanded to its current size at this time and the league itself expanded to twenty teams across three divisions. After two seasons, one won by Hyde FC and another by Lionsgate City, the league intended to expand again in 2016-17 by absorbing the teams of the lower 4 leagues and also expanding the amount of teams in the now amateur lower divisions, but never ran again.

The league plans to return for the 2023 season using a March-October calendar, aligning itself with the international football cycle. There will be four 8-team divisions named after the 2016 proposals, with an election process to replace teams that fold, or fail to meet the standards of play.
