Lausanne, officially known as the City of Lausanne, is the capital and largest city of the New Alexandrian Region of South Lyrica. It is considered one of the most important cultural and economic centers of South Lyrica. During the late 1730's the city saw an increased immigration of mostly wealthy Shirerithians, fleeing the Imperial Republic during the Mango Anarchy. This led to several city neighborhoods being known as 'Little Shirekeep'.

History

Lausanne was originally founded by Stormark and was known as Haraldsborg. The city was named after King Harald, who ruled over the region and made it his capital. t is now a Haraldsborg served as the capital of the Empire of Stormark until its collapse. After South Lyrica became part of Nouvelle Alexandrie, Lausanne was designated as the capital of the new Region. The city underwent a significant period of growth and modernization, and became one of the most important centers of culture and commerce in South Lyrica. It is now a vibrant, democratic city where human rights are secured and respected.

Religion

The Temple of the Lakes, located in the heart of Lausanne, is one of the city's most prominent landmarks.
