The relations between the Benacian Union and the Kingdom of Normark are intimate and deeply rooted in the shared humanist belief system and the shared ShirerithianElwynnese heritage. Normark achieved independence from Elwynn in 1703, after Elwynn had joined the Benacian Union. There are strong legal ties that bind the Benacian Union and Normark together, and many BU people live in Normark, and many Norse people live in the Benacian Union.

Both the Benacian Union and Normark are members of the Raspur Pact.
