Some of the projected routes for the Air Bridge after the Second Elwynnese Civil War (from government study conducted in 1693 AN)
Some of the routes of the Boreal Air Bridge in 1673.
The route of the Boreal Air Bridge between the Fall of Caputia and the Kalirion Fracture.

The Boreal Air Bridge was a strategic air bridge, originally pioneered by the trans-Hyperborean flight of Ayreon IV on his first state visit to the Elian Union (later Normark) in 16XX AN. The route from Shirekeep-Foley Aerodrome to the NDF base at Nynormarksudda came into its own after the collapse of Caputia during the height of the White Plague cut Normark's access to an at least sympathetically neutral supply base.

Since 1673, the Air Bridge has been resumed, connecting several Raspur Pact allies with several daily scheduled passenger, freight and military flights.

(blurb about political difficulties and consequences of abandoning and then reoccupying Leng goes here)

(blurb about the operation of daily cargo flights over the boreal wastes and icecaps goes here)

(insinuation about attempted interdiction by unidentified third parties goes here)

(blurb about the events leading up to the Kalirion Fracture and their impact on operations in the high north goes here.)

Operations were effectively suspended after the Volsaarn Paladins expelled the last remnants of the Imperial garrison at enu Kalirion station to perish miserably upon the pack ice in the eighth month of 1671.

(resumption of use following recapture of Leng by UDF circa 1672-75)

(garrison maintained on Leng to counter USSO presence in Normaria)

As of 1690 the Boreal Air Bridge additionally provides for a connecting air service between Eliria Aerodrome and Vesüha (Hurmu) via the Hellistelli International Airport (Jaaland).

From 1692 AN to operations of the air bridge were once again suspended following the outbreak of the Second Elwynnese Civil War in that year.
