The Caputia national football team was the football team which represented the micronation of Caputia. It was a member of the EMUFA, and was run by the FAC.

The team was seen as the spiritual successor of Hamland in that the vast majority of its players originated from this nation's team, but it did not retain its records.

History

The team was founded in mid-2017 after Caputia successfully claimed on Micras by annexing Hamland. The team first competed in the 2018 EMU Championships qualification rounds, where they topped their five-team group with 17 points, ahead of Hoenn on goal difference, to advance to their first finals. At EMU 2018, the team's form continued as they topped their four-team group with six points before overcoming Hoenn 2–1 in the semi-finals, but were unable to beat hosts Mercury in the final and placed second.

The team's fortunes lessened in the 2019 World Cup qualifiers, where they could only finish fifth in their six-team group with 13 points, though were only behind Talenore in the play-off spot on goal difference. Caputia left Micras soon afterwards after being declared dead.
