The 1758 AN Scattered Islands state general election (Sangunese: 1758年散在諸島州総選挙, translit.: 1752-nen Sanzai Shotō-shū Sō Senkyo?, Phineaner: Pilihanraya Negeri Kepulauan Tersebar/Serpihan 1752); colloquially know as 1758 5S or 2nd 5S (1752年5エス/2番目の5-エス, 1758-nen Go-esu?, or Ni-banme no Go-esu) was the second state election in the Scattered Islands, scheduled to be held in 5-12.XI.1758 AN or 11 July RP 2622 under the Scattered Islands Organic Law, the charter of the autonomous territory within the Federation. The elections were held following the dissolution announced by the incumbent Chief Minister, François Izana Puigdemont, on 9.I.1757 AN, and approved and signed by the state governor, Nathaniel Elézien van de Tamaki.
All 74 seats in the Scattered Islands State Legislative Assembly will be contested. The elections will determine whether the incumbent coalition of Together for the Scattered Islands (Junts per Illes Disperses or JuntsxID) government retains power despite the leadership being taken over by Leo Bernadus Ethan of Leo-Progressive and Innovative Party (PLPI; formerly the TC Corporation representative in the coalition), or whether an opposition coalition can secure a majority.
After the failure of the Ahmad Jufri Party in the previous election, there was a series of riots carried out by the extremist party but the party's efforts were in vain because they were fully handled by the state government. The party changed its name several times to Zhang Ming Wei Dang and the United BFDI-HTF Party, and is now rebranded as the Setiga Farma Party.
