Robyna Markbell-Howells
Robyna Alexandretta Petronella Markbell-Howells (born 1678 in Mardukhaven, Tas Neemia) is a Natopian biochemist, specialising in the biochemistry of Arctic/Antarctic life. Quarantined, on the orders of Cohort XX (Defence Against Anomalous Phenomena), along with her staff following exposure in 1721 AN to an intruding alien lifeform discovered in the southern boreal wastes. Subsequently impressed into the Defence Against Anomalous Phenomena as part of the first contact mission after becoming by default the sole subject matter expert regarding the alien menace on the entire planet. Since 1722, she is a diplomat, heading the Raspur Pact's Observatory, Security and Liaison Office in Theogiorick, and charged with enforcing the Armistice of Theogiorick.
On 23.XIII.1721, Robyna was brought out of quarantine to deliver a briefing in the Court of the Verdant Garden (Lindstrom) to Frederik Anders the Younger and the Chiefs of Staff of the Natopian Defense Force regarding the known attributes of the alien threat.

Part of the faculties of Metzler University (from 1705), Nathan & Elijah College (from 1706), University of Konungsheim (from 1709) Research in Whales and Athlon (1705–1707), Los Bananos (1707), Leng (1708). Associate Professor in 1708. Full professor in 1718. Stationed in Harthago (Prima Natopia) in 1721 as an extended field trip, researching the unique biochemistry of the local flora and fauna.
