The Northern Euran Protocols were a series of secret agreements reached between the governments of Constancia and Nouvelle Alexandrie in 1697 AN during diplomatic discussions held at the city of Fontainebleau, Alduria. The protocols were established to provide for mutual cooperation in invading, occupying, and incorporating the vast northern Euran Green to prevent further expansionist designs from the Thraci Confederation or other foreign powers. The agreements also aimed to finally bring under control vast amounts of unclaimed territory where tribes and marauding guerillas would regularly attack border communities, often firing rockets and mortars into Constancian and Aldurian border communities for several decades. The discussions that culminated in the agreements contained in the protocol included authorization and plans for Operation Paramount, among other terms.
