Leonzio Pandolfi is a New Oscland-born former-footballer who last played for Osĵätoņ Aztecs FC. Primarily a left-back with an eye for attacking, he previously represented his homeland of New Oscland, its successor Oscland, Kavalos and most recently Tellia at international level.
Career
Club
Pandolfi signed his first professional contract with Riponian Premiership side Port Rackham Rangers in 2007 after impressing at international level and having been a free agent in his homeland. After one season in Port Rackham, Riponia was declared dead and its football leagues disbanded, leaving Pandolfi without a club. He signed for Craitland's Osĵätoņ Aztecs FC in CrFA League 1 in December of 2008, being given the 24 jersey, and played the following season as a deputy to Jón Hjansen as the club won the league.
Ahead of the 2010 season, he was loaned on a short-term deal to Amokolian outfit New London United and was one of a number of notable players to do so. Pandolfi's subsequent career at the Aztecs rotated between periods of regular game-time and lengthy spells being out of favour. He maintained a regular starting position throughout 2011 and 2012, helping the team towards winning the 2012 FMF Champions' League, but played considerably less during the title-winning 2013 campaign. Pandolfi retired in the summer of that year at the age of 33.
International
Pandolfi represented his birth nation of New Oscland in the inaugural edition of the FMF World Cup, starting all three matches as the team were knocked-out at the group stage. Following Oscland succeeding the team, Pandolfi represented them in the following year's qualifiers as they failed to get past the first round.
Following Oscland leaving Micras, Pandolfi was granted citizenship of Kavalos, whose team he represented in the 2008 CiboTap Championships, playing an integral part as they won the final with a surprise victory over Alexandria. Despite Oscland returning to Micras later in the year, Pandolfi retained his Kavalosian eligibility to be able to play in the summer's World Cup, where the side finished bottom of their group.
Pandolfi gained Tellian citizenship after Kavalos was declared dead, and received a call-up to the national team for the 2010 FMF World Cup, being used sparingly as the team disappointed by being eliminated in the groups. While Oscland returned to the FMF for a short time in 2011, Pandolfi only ever represented Tellia internationally again until his retirement in 2013.
