1704 AN III 11 Peace of Lapano Endorsed Although a private treaty, the High Presidium committed to ensuring that the provisions of the Peace of Lapano will be implemented where pertinent to the institutions and interests of the Benacian Union.
1704 AN III 12 Prohibition of the Passikaans language Upheld
(Partial exemption)
After a review of a Passikaans lexicon, provided by the Mission in Highpass, it has been deemed prudent to maintain the prohibition on the use of language, as mandated by Congress. Nonetheless, for BUDF personnel posted to Highpass or the frontier, it has been deemed necessary to establish a School of Prohibited Languages in Peroz-Liv, subordinate to the Benacian Academy to provide a level of basic instruction. The order was accordingly given to arrange for the abduction of a Highpasser and their removal to Peroz-Liv to provide an explanation of the rudiments of the low tongue to the learned magisters of the Academy.

1698 AN1703 AN Session

Year M D Item Outcome Comment
1699 AN III 22 Petition for a Decree of Annulment
(Ayesha al-Osman petitioner v. Isor Verion respondent)
Hearing Authorised The petitioner accused the respondent of infidelity, marital neglect, desertion, treasonable associations, and heresy. The High Presidium was convinced of the merit of the case and dispatched Ahmst Mairstranin Abner Shas of the Adjutant General's Corps and his retinue to Shirekeep as its duly appointed bailiff to serve a summons upon Isor Verion and to bring him back to Chryse by any appropriate method within his means. The respondent fled to Cimmeria and subsequent correspondence has been of a vexatious nature. A unanimous decision was made to hear the petition in the absence of the respondent; a representative being appointed to uphold his interest.

1703 AN V 12 Sanama Concluded Discussion regarding Sanama following its civil war and departure from the Raspur Pact. Communalism discussed. Egalitarian heresy. Difference to communism is not a meaningful one. Meeting briefly interrupted by repeated shouts of "Marg bar Tudeh kuffar". Order restored. Resumption of oil imports exceeds in terms of need that of the maintenance of ideological purity. Recommendation that visitors to and from Sanama shall no longer be subject to the Rite of Exorcism was accepted.
