Apis, also known as Apis of the Cedars is a subdivision (castellany) of the Duchy of Cheshunt of the Dynastic Incarnation of the Lands of Flaventia, a demesne of Natopia.

History

Established as the city of Apis of the Cedars by law in accordance with Article C, Section 4 of the Internal Reorganization Act [1] of the Frenzy on II.1581.

Its fire department assisted in the Great Hazel Woods Fire of V.1622 [2].

Reconstituted as the County of Apis and vested via a Mandate of the Faro of the Dynastic Incarnation of the Lands of Flaventia, with Isabella Kalirion, then-Secretary of Defense of Natopia. [3]

Governance

In accordance with the Mandate of the Faro of the Dynastic Incarnation of the Lands of Flaventia, "The count may make customary laws for his county in accordance with Flaventian and Natopian laws". In this regard, primary policymaking power within the County is vested in the Count or Countess of Apis, followed by the Emperor of Natopia in his capacity as King of Ziegeland, followed by the Government and Legislature of the demesne that is the Dynastic Incarnation of the Lands of Flaventia, then Imperial Law adopted by the Frenzy or issued by the Government, the Chancellor of Natopia, or the Emperor of the Natopians.

Titularly ruled by Daniyal ibn Daniyal Simrani-Kalirion, Count of Apis, daily administration was directly handled by his wife, Novichoka Vladimirovna, Countess of Apis and Stewardess of the Castellany of Apis, who was resident therein, and concurrent ESB Director of Government Services, Apis. She held these positions until her death in the 13th month of 1725. The Board of Directors of the Honourable Company approved and ratified on 23.XV.1687 the written manifestation of the Chairman Emeritus for a property management agreement.

The seat of government for the county is Cedarwood Hall, a palladian mansion built after the Dozan style, the construction of which commenced in 1659 AN and took thirty years to complete.
