Career
First deployed to Shirekeep in the pursuit of Isor Verion, leading efforts on behalf efforts of High Presidium of the Benacian Union representative to serve legal papers upon him for proceedings relating to the annulment of his marriage to Ayesha al-Osman. As a Ahmst Mairstranin of the Adjutant General's Corps, Abner had been by default the most senior Benacian official in the capital at that time. To this end he had, along with his cohort-sized retinue, busied himself with buying up properties adjacent to the rebel embassy and engaged the services of financially embarrassed members of the Mango Bar so as to ensure there was always someone present to serve papers upon Isor should he appear on the street. This informal state of litigatory siege, punctuated by attempts upon his life in the form of drive-by shootings, grenade attacks, and one foiled attempt at affixing a Bassarid satchel charge to the underside of the embassy car, was not enough to dissuade Isor from continually attending upon the Imperial Court in Raynor's Keep whilst in the pursuit of various machinations that would culminate in the so-called Cimmerian Affair and Isor's de-facto expulsion from the capital.
Abner would however remain in Shirekeep on behalf of the Commission for Foreign Affairs. To this end he would serve as head of the Benacian legation in Shirekeep from 24.X.1699 AN until his execution before the Golden Mango Throne on I.1731 AN. He upheld a discrete presence in the capital, seldom departing far from his duty station, with the exception of his attendance at the Wedding of Prince Ichirō and Lady Kaika in Daocheng in 1715 AN.
His legacy would include the Shirekeep Legation of the Benacian Union, built in Cabbagefall under his supervision. He was also in his time a patron of the Shirekeep Benacian Institute. He was a committed and fervent organiser of the Imperial Humanist Party of Shireroth, who did much to grow its cadre network of activists.
With his attainment of the glorious condition of martyrdom Abner was posthumously confirmed in the acting rank of legate, which he had held for so long.
He was survived by his wife, two sons in Siyachia, and a daughter, the latter aged twenty-two would receive an appointment to the staff of the Bothan Institute in recognition of her father's service.
