The Euran State Chronicle, first collated by Minister and Civil Administrator for Raspur, was a record of the events in the latter days of the Primokratía in Constancia. It has since been edited and published by the Office of the Autokrator of Constancia, but is only available to government agencies and certain select investors.

  • 12: 4th Imperial Synkletos convenes.

  • 20: 46 Constancian-flagged dry cargo container vessels per month called at Port Farrar since the beginning of the year, a fourfold increase on 1678. Exports included agricultural machinery, automobile parts, machine tools, aviation grade metal alloys, industrial piping, and high capacity electrical vehicle batteries. The increase in shipping movements along the Razjanian Coast and across the Dyre Straits, between Arak and Port Farrar, has meant that convoy escort duties have become the primary operational mission of the Gold Banner Western Fleet.

  • 11: The Autokrator, presiding in session over the Court of the Principality of Molivadia, received with due ceremony the presentation of a bound tome detailing the balance of naval power in the waters of the Euran continent as noted in the year 1680. It was widely considered to make sobering reading and earnest consultations between the Autokrator and the Aldurian ambassador ensued over the succeeding days.

  • 11: Imperial Constancian Airways Corporation Flight 842, on an internal domestic flight between Nivardom and Arak, disintegrated at 20,000ft over the Gulf of Aqabah with the loss of all 98 passengers and 14 crew. Most notable amongst those lost was Agilulf Vasilescu, prominent Modanese exile and shareholder of the Androphagos Corporation. Several weeks would elapse as the Imperial Constancian Navy recovered the wreckage of the Floret passenger aircraft. The formal air-crash investigation report would remain under seal in the Autokrator's office but the summary provided to the nation's media attributed the crash to a "sudden decompressive event" in the aircraft's passenger cabin, occasioned by hitherto undetected fatigue in the air-frame. Florets in military and civil aviation use throughout the Raspur Pact were subsequently grounded for safety inspections. Fortunately however, thorough investigations would uncover no similar defects in any other airframe of the type.

VII.1685

  • 3: The Autokrator of Constancia issued a decree [1] forever suppressing the Church of the Froyalanish Ancient Ways, as well as practice of Froyalanish Ancient Ways within the Imperial State of Constancia. This same decree, among other provisions, declares all subjects and nationals of the High Realm of Stormark as Kul of the Imperial State under the patronage and protection of the Autokrator, with minors as wards of the Imperial State. Another decree grants formal diplomatic recognition of the Imperial State of Constancia to the Kingdom of Amokolia, and an ambassador is appointed.
