Eleonora Gerardsdottra Spooner (born 1740 AN), from VI.1761 AN known as Eleonora Spooner-Kvalsted, is a Hurmu-Highbloomian diplomat and the current consul-general of the Order of the Holy Lakes in Yasutomi. A member of the Spooner family, she is the only child of Gerard Spooner, Baron Spooner of Cedartree, and his wife, Greta Mondosdottra.
Elopement and personal life
In early 1761 AN, Spooner visited rehabilitated former minister Mårten Kvalsted in his cottage on the outskirts of Ataasiussuservik, and soon after the two began a clandestine romance. The couple subsequently eloped to Western Corum in VI.1761 AN, with the assistance of Spooner's cousin, Alice Skuryova-Spooner, and friend, Queen Electra.
News of the elopement prompted a media frenzy, with many social media users commenting on the substantial age-difference between Kvalsted, 69, and Spooner, 21. Spooner's parents both responded negatively; Greta Mondosdottra admitted being "mystified" by her daughter's choice, while her husband Gerard Spooner allegedly threatened to "beat him [Kvalsted] to death with my bare hands".
