The Northbloom national football team is the football team which represents the Mondosphere constituent nation of Highbloom. It is a member of the WMFA. The team is the official successor of Northbloom, and as such retains its records.
History
The team was founded in mid-2025 after the foundation of Highbloom as the successor state to Northbloom. Under the name of Northbloom, the team competed from 2021, and played in the following year's Benacia Cup qualifiers, finishing bottom of their group. The 2023 World Cup qualifiers also saw the team finish bottom of their group, and this feat was again matched in the 2024 regional qualifiers. This however led to a place at the 2024 Emerging Nations Cup, where the team won three matches in a row to lift a first ever trophy.
Following another bottom-of-the-table showing in the 2025 World Cup qualifiers, Northbloom was integrated into the newly-founded Highbloom. Northbloom's record entered the team into the 2025 Emerging Nations Cup, where it first competed under the name of Highbloom and also gained hosting rights for the tournament. There, they beat the United Principalities 3–1 and Forajasaki 2–1 in the quarter-finals and semi-finals, respectively, before wining the final on penalties over Lusa to lift a second consecutive trophy.
